Iconic Duo Aly & AJ Headline the Bomb Factory in Dallas

Aly & AJ perform at the Studio at the Bomb Factory in Dallas for the ‘Silver Deliverer’ Tour with support from Amanda Shires.

Last weekend, pop duo Aly & AJ brought their “Silver Deliverer Tour” to the Studio at the Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas. On this tour, they were joined by singer-songwriter Amanda Shires. On this chilly night, attendees gathered in the venue, catching up with one another, purchasing drinks, and browsing the merch table. The merch table, lit up by a bright white neon sign, had a variety of apparel, posters, and vinyl available for purchase.

The first act of the night was Amanda Shires, a folk artist from Lubbock, Texas. Amanda Shires has more than 800 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and her track “Without You” has gathered more than 81 million streams. In September, she released her latest album titled Nobody’s Girl.

On stage, Amanda was accompanied by her pianist, and she delivered haunting vocals while also playing the fiddle. In between songs, she engaged with the audience and asked them about their relationship statuses, their favorite movies, among other questions. Overall, Amanda put on a performance that was both dramatic and engaging.

The last act of the night was Aly & AJ, an indie duo from California. Aly & AJ have more than a million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their track “Potential Breakup Song” has accumulated almost 200 million streams.

This year, they have released three different projects: their album Silver Deliverer, their album 20 Years Of Into The Rush (Live), and their EP More Silver. Before their set, Aly & AJ projected a short intro video, and then they hit the stage with their touring band. Their stage design was bright and colorful, and the duo wore jean sets lined with fringe and bows. Aly & AJ opened with their song “Take Your Time” and closed with their song “Places to Run”. Both Amanda Shires and Aly & AJ were greeted with a Texas-sized welcome, and in return, both artists put on big and entertaining shows.
