Adam Met shows the world how he has wanted to help fight the climate crisis and researches around the world.

With many celebrities and artists using their platforms to help raise awareness toward several different causes, Adam Met, of indie pop band, AJR, has done more than just use his platform to help bring awareness to climate change. After years of spreading the word about both the climate crisis and human rights, Adam decided to take it a step further and eventually reached his goal of gaining his Ph.D. to help better the world through more than just a screen.

In 2012, Adam Met attended Columbia University and received his bachelor’s in business and philosophy. He also went on to receive his master’s from New York University and in 2021 he received his Ph.D. in international human rights law from the University of Birmingham. Adam has mentioned in the past on his social media that he wanted to get his Ph.D. so that he can help change the world by going beyond social media. Since gaining his Ph.D., Adam has met with multiple environmental activists and researchers, founded the Planet Reimagined non-profit organization, and hosts a podcast for Planet Reimagined to help inform those who want to help their planet and gain more information about what they can do to help the world, as well as share stories from other activists as well.

When Adam Met and human rights activist, Mila Rosenthal, teamed up to create the Planet Reimagined non-profit organization, they had one primary issue that they wanted to tackle, the climate crisis. They have partnered up with communities, businesses, universities, and politics to help join the fight against the climate crisis and to help people reach a fair solution to help both people and the planet. Both Adam and Mila have helped people and companies around the world become better informed about how they can help their planet and have helped researchers and programs that are designed to also fight the climate crisis in any way that they could.
