D4VD recently released his latest album titled WITHERED, and performed his first show of the era with an almost sold-out show on the Lawn at White Oak Music Hall.
At only 20 years old, d4vd has already toured with SZA and collaborated with star acts like Kali Uchis and Laufey. His sound blends pop, rock, R&B, and subtle hints of rap—fused together in a way that feels entirely his own.
“I want a noise complaint!” he shouted as he kicked off his set. The show centered around his new album WITHERED, though he also performed some fan favorites. He had a guitarist and drummer, where the live instrumentation added a new texture to his sound.

D4vd is a fun, dynamic performer who knows how to keep a crowd engaged. From silly comments to sharing his musical inspirations, he radiates charisma and confidence. He opened his homecoming show with tracks like “Atomic Land,” “Sky,” and “You Left Me First.” It was the first time he performed many of these songs live, and his genuine excitement was great to see.
It wouldn’t be a Houston show without a family moment. His younger sister Emily joined him onstage to sing “Here With Me”. The sibling duet was one of the most heartwarming moments of the night. Another highlight came when a pair of fans, dressed as characters from the show Invincible, were brought onstage during the performance of “Feel It,” a song featured in the series. The couple danced and sang along with d4vd, adding a fun and wholesome energy to the set.

As the night drew to a close, d4vd delivered an emotional performance of the album’s outro, “Afterlife”. With tears in his eyes, he addressed the crowd: “I want to savor this moment.” He then had the band restart the song, giving fans a second chance to experience the powerful ballad. The show wrapped up with his breakout hit “Romantic Homicide,” leaving the audience buzzing with energy and emotion.
d4vd is now set to embark on his Withered world tour so catch a show if you can, get your tickets here.
