Half Dream are exciting Austin artists creating unique and soulful music with a warm stage presence to match.
On Friday evening, dream-rock artist Half Dream debuted the lead single of their upcoming album, Will I Still Bloom? at Captain Quackenbush’s Soundspace. The group enchanted the crowd with powerful vocals, insightful lyrics, and an obvious passion for performing, while fellow performers Lady Chops and the Goddamn Jam brought a whimsical energy and genre-combining sound.
I’m an writer and photographer currently studying Radio-TV-Film at the University of Texas at Austin. Some of my favorite artists are Arctic Monkeys, Faye Webster, and Doja Cat. I take photos and write with Austin Underground of TSTV, and I love creating media with local zines. In my free time, I like to cook, play pickleball, and have picnics with friends.
