Fletcher has announced her headline tour, In Search of the Antidote, to accompany her recent album release.
The pop artist will kick off the North American leg of the tour on September 12th in Minneapolis, concluding on October 9th in Los Angeles.
Her recent album, In Search of the Antidote, is Fletcher’s second studio album and features hits “Doing Better” and “Pretending”.
Fletcher has amassed over 2.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. She has been nominated for awards by iHeartRadio, MTV, and GLAAD. She won GLAAD Media Awards’ Outstanding Music Artist in 2023, which recognizes artists for their representation of the LGBTQ+ community.
Fletcher is openly and proudly queer, which she highlights throughout her discography and accompanying visual art. Her hit Becky’s So Hot went viral on social media for its risque sapphic lyrics, gaining over 38 million streams. She has shared that she wishes she had had queer media growing up to help her come to terms with her sexuality, and that she aims to create music and art that would have aided in this self acceptance.
Maude Latour will provide support throughout the entire tour. Special guests The Beaches will accompany the tour at Radio City Music Hall on September 21st, and Slayyter will support on the closing tour date at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on October 9th.
As a Houston native, I am passionate about the deep well of talent that Texas has to offer. From DIY shows to major label musicians, I just love to consume live music. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to highlight and memorialize incredible artists through photography and writing. When not on tour, studying at the University of Houston, or at local shows, I can be found reading, writing songs, enjoying soft cheeses, planning themed parties, and rolling down the hill at Hermann Park.
