Opener Gable Price and Friends join headliner Fitz and the Tantrums at the Echo Lounge & Music Hall in Dallas.
On August 29, pop band Fitz and the Tantrums stopped at the Echo Lounge & Music Hall in Dallas, Texas for their Man on the Moon tour. For this date, they were supported by alternative band Gable Price and Friends. Inside the venue, hundreds of fans of all ages gathered on the general admission floor and balcony. While waiting for the acts to hit the stage, the pre-show playlist was filled with fun, upbeat hits to get the crowd warmed up.
The first act of the night was Gable Price and Friends, an indie band from Redding, California. Gable Price and Friends has more than 200 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and their track “I Need You” has accumulated close to 6 million streams. Last month, the band released their EP Post Credits Scenes, which was followed by their latest single “Human Point Of View.” On stage, Gable Price and Friends consisted of a lead singer, bassist, guitarist and drummer. The band played a mix of old and new fan favorite songs, setting the energy high for the rest of the show.






The last act of the night was Fitz and the Tantrums, a neo soul band from Los Angeles, California. Fitz and the Tantrums have almost 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their song “Out of My League” has more than 966 million streams. In July, the band released their latest album Man on The Moon. Fitz and the Tantrums’ live members included lead singer Michael Fitzpatrick, co-lead singer Noelle Scaggs, saxophonist James King, bass player Joseph Karnes, keyboardist Jeremy Ruzumna and drummer Blair Sinta. The bands’ stage design incorporated bright lights with covered the venue in color. The set opened with the track “OCD,” which was later followed by “I Just Wanna Shine,” “The Walker,” and more. Overall, both Gabe Price and Friends and Fitz and the Tantrums put on unforgettable performances.
