Faye Webster has come a long way, achieving success with sold-out tours and gaining momentum from new fans through the popularity of trending songs on TikTok, along with strong support from her dedicated fanbase. The cold Friday night did not stop fans from lining up early and showcasing their fashion tastes, with many wearing oversized clothing, Minions shirts, and suits. The night started off with mei ehara, a Japanese artist who has collaborated with Faye Webster. Her gentle vocals and dreamy songs captivated fans and had fans grooving.
Faye Webster took the stage at 9:00 PM as fans filled the venue to capacity, with all tickets sold out. Excitement filled the air as an oversized T-shirt displayed a Minions animation featuring Faye as a Minion. The crowd roared with enthusiasm when the band appeared on stage, and Faye opened with her popular single “But Not Kiss” from her latest album. As she sang the opening lyrics, “I want to sleep in your arms but not kiss, I long for your touch but don’t miss,” fans sang along passionately. The breakdown and buildup of the track intensified as the song progressed, heightening the energy in the room. Faye’s latest album, Underdressed at the Symphony, explores themes of coping with loss, love, and heartbreak. One of her most ambitious albums, that received rave reviews.

As the night went on, the hits kept coming. Songs like “Right Side of My Neck” from her most popular album, Atlanta Millionaires Club, left the crowd in awe. The stage featured a full band, with the guitarist positioned on the left side and the bassist and drummer on a platform to the right. Throughout the show, animations of cartoon characters and a slot machine displaying upcoming tracks added a unique element. During “Lego Ring,” a track from her latest record featuring rapper Lil Yachty, an animated video of animal characters dancing and playing music was displayed—pulled directly from the song’s official music video.
Following “Lego Ring,” she performed another fan favorite, “Jonny,” an emotional and heartfelt song about her search for love. She also played the reprise version of “Jonny”, which she recently performed during her Tiny Desk Concert for NPR. Faye Webster continues to be one of Gen Z’s most interesting and dynamic artists. Her following keeps growing, with new fans discovering her not just for her music but also for her personality. The night ended with an encore of her most-streamed song, “Kingston.” Fans roared and sang along to every word, leaving the Houston crowd wanting more.
