Donovan Woods and Henry Jamison set the stage tonight at Lincoln Hall with fans on April 7th with support from Isabel Pless.
The night was filled with support, good music and laughs. Fans were supportive of each set and Isabel Pless had started off the night with relatable statements that kept the crowd connected to her experiences. Her deeply passionate lyrics set the vibes for the first night and great performance.
While Isabel Pless opened up for the night, she chatted along with the crowd about what some of her songs were about. Pless performed “Little Life” where you don’t have to “forgive everyone who’s been an a-hole to you” and “Did You Ever Think About Me?” was meant for wishing you had closure with someone. Not too long after, Donovan Woods took on the stage with a warm welcome and cracked a few jokes as well. Woods’ acoustic set consisted of both older and newer music, some laughs and immaculate vibes. The final set of the night was folk-artist Henry Jamison who set the tone with his set and also made a few jokes as well! The night was filled with nothing but good energy and love at the Husbandry Tour and would recommend checking them out when you get a chance.
Overall, the start of this tour is looking like it will carry great memories for old and new listeners – the stage presence was warm and welcoming, and continuous crowd interactions throughout the opening night.
I'm based by the Chicagoland area in Illinois. I would describe myself as a multidisciplinary artist who specializes in photo, design and some illustration. I am a recent graduate in Graphic Design and love being involved in the entertainment industry. I love thrifting, visiting galleries/museums, listening to podcasts and going to countless concerts when I can. My very first concert was the Jonas Brothers when I was very little!
