Dirty Honey Take Over RISE Rooftop in Houston

Rock n’ roll powerhouse Dirty Honey jam the night away with support from Austin Meade on their ‘Can’t Find The Brakes’ Tour.

From Los Angeles, California, Dirty Honey are well known for their classic rock inspired sound. Their sophomore album Can’t Find The Brakes is to be released November 3, and the band kicked off their North American tour of the same name in mid-October. They visited RISE Rooftop in Houston on October 25 with opener Austin Meade, a Texas native and rock musician.

Austin Meade got the ball rolling by performing his hit songs including “Happier Alone” and “Cave In.” Him and his band kept excellent energy on stage that had the audience moving and singing along.

Following was headliner Dirty Honey, who began their set with the title track from their upcoming album Can’t Find The Brakes. All of the band’s members, including Marc Labelle (vocals), John Notto (guitar), Justin Smolian (bass) and Jaydon Bean (drums), kept up with their epic showmanship throughout the entire performance. They were highly interactive with the crowd, making the experience feel personal and intimate for fans. The night was full of chart-topping hits such as “When I’m Gone” and “Rolling 7s.” They even played a cover of “Could This Be Magic?” by iconic rock band Van Halen. Dirty Honey did an outstanding job keeping their fans entertained and put on a magnificent performance.

Dirty Honey is a force to be reckoned with as they have become one of the faces of mainstream rock music in recent years. Their Can’t Find The Brakes Tour contains dozens more shows all over the US and Canada and will conclude in mid-December.

I’m a Houston based photographer who loves being around live music and all the creative people involved in the local music scene. I enjoy capturing performers and artists doing what they love and the essence of how live music makes people feel. When Im not behind the lens, I love trying new things and visiting new places.
