Toledo, Ohio’s own, Citizen played an energetic set at Mohawk on November 7 in Austin, TX.
The quintet is touring off their newest album released last month titled Calling The Dogs. Citizen played a variety of their punchy, upbeat songs that had the crowd circling in the pit and crowdsurfing up to the stage. A few of the crowd favorites that were played included “Sleep,” “The Night I Drove Alone,” “How Does It Feel” and multiple songs off their new album like “Lay Low” and “If You’re Lonely.” Citizen picked it back up with an encore playing “I Want to Kill You” from Life In Your Glass World.
Dallas-based band, Narrow Head is also supporting Citizen across their U.S. tour. The alternative metal band played songs like “The Real,” “Fine Day,” and “Caroline” during their set.
Modern Color opened the show at Mohawk. The pop-punk group quickly got the crowd moving and set the energy for the night. Modern Color played tracks like “Head Change,” “On And Off” and a new song, “Fortress.”
