Singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot visited Houston on his Victory Tour with support from opener Braden Bales.
Cian Ducrot is an Irish singer-songwriter whose music contains themes of love and heartbreak. His songwriting is sincere and relatable to many fans. He rose to stardom following the 2022 release of his song “All For You.” His new debut album Victory contains numerous heartfelt ballads including his hit song “I’ll Be Waiting”, which has accumulated nearly 150 million listens.
Cian Ducrot stopped in Houston at White Oak Music Hall for the second to last show on the US leg of the Victory Tour. Canadian singer and producer Braden Bales performed his opening set to kick off the night. Shortly after, Ducrot began his show with the title track from his record Victory, followed by “Mama”, “Heaven” and a number of his other hit songs. He was highly interactive with the audience, even having short conversations with fans standing at the barricade between songs. Halfway through the performance, Ducrot stopped to give the fans in the crowd some positive affirmations. He even set up pens and paper near the merch stand and encouraged the audience to write down something they are proud of. He wrapped up the night with “I’ll Be Waiting”, the song that the crowd had been anxious to hear all night. Cian Ducrot will continue the Victory Tour until mid-December with the last stop being in his home country of Ireland.
I’m a Houston based photographer who loves being around live music and all the creative people involved in the local music scene. I enjoy capturing performers and artists doing what they love and the essence of how live music makes people feel. When Im not behind the lens, I love trying new things and visiting new places.
