Beach Bunny lit up Emo’s in Austin with a sold-out, crowd-pleasing set featuring fan favorites and new tracks, following a dynamic opening performance by Scarlet Demore.
The walls of Emo’s in Austin Texas shook with energy for a highly anticipated stop on Beach Bunny’s 2025 Tunnel Vision tour.
Scarlet Demore, the Chicago-based opener, did not waste a second commanding the room with their active stage presence. The band launched an energetic rock set: guitar riffs, pulsing drums, and a commanding singer engaging all. Her constant stage movement matched the band’s rhythm, building momentum; the early crowd nodded heads and tapped feet. Their high-energy stage presence pumped up the crowd, preparing them for what was to come.

By the time Beach Bunny emerged, the audience was primed and ready to continue with their night. The indie pop-rock band received loud cheers, glowing phone screens, and a sea of fans in playful bunny ears. The band wasted no time, opening their set with fan-favorite “Cloud 9”. The song ignited a joyful singalong, turning the room into a shared celebration of excitement.
Beach Bunny treated the crowd to tracks from their latest album Tunnel Vision, released two months prior in April. Fans well-received new songs, but they roared loudest for earlier hits, clearly having memorized their lyrics. The peak of the night was undoubtedly during “Sports,” when the crowd’s energy hit a high. The entire room seemed ecstatic as fans shouted the lyrics back to the stage.

Simple yet effective production: colorful lights complemented upbeat music, pink/white stripes and cartoonish backdrops mimicked the band’s cover art. In the end, Beach Bunny delivered a set that felt like an intimate show despite the packed room, blending newer material with their original songs that created their fan base. Scarlet Demore’s fiery opener and Beach Bunny’s joyful performance made this night at Emo’s an ideal summer show for indie rock fans.
